• San Franciscan women are among the most highly educated in the world; 1 out of 3 has a bachelors degree or higher.
• Asian women make up the highest percentage (32%) of those in the lowest poverty brackets.
• In 2007, 23% of households were headed by females, and 15% of these were below the poverty line, double the rate of 2 parent homes.
• In 2005, 63% of women participated in the San Francisco labor force, representing 46% of the total labor force in the City.
