 Welcome to the San Francisco and Bay Area local chapter of N.O.W. (the National Organization for Women now.org and canow.org). Our main purpose is to represent the grassroots interests of women and girls. That is why it is important to hear from you. CURRENT ACTIONS: On November 9, 2011, a coalition supported by CANOW and SFNOW submitted the California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act to the State Attorney General for title and summary, prior to circulation as an initiative measure for the November 2012 election.
